This Month's Challenge for Keep Learning: Take your child or a #LoveLansing area friend to a Passport to Adventure destination

Welcome to the seventh edition of the Keep Learning Newsletter. We have an important task this month! Your Keep Learning challenge this month is to take a child, whether it be your own, a friend or family member, to one of the 13 Passport to Adventure destinations.

The Passport to Adventure program is an effort to encourage life-long learning among outgoing third, fourth and fifth graders in the Greater Lansing community. Multiple recent studies show that these grades are seen as a critical times in determining students' success or failure. The passports aim to enrich outgoing third, fourth and fifth graders' and their families' cultural and learning experiences throughout the summer, while using existing assets in the greater Lansing area. Participants will have the opportunity to get rewarded for their cultural and educational engagement at the end of the summer.

In June, all outgoing third, fourth and fifth graders in Ingham, Eaton and Clinton Counties received their Passport to Adventure. Additional passports are available at all destinations below on a first-come, first-served basis for outgoing third, fourth and fifth graders to participate in the program.

With the passport, students and their families, and YOU of course, are encouraged to visit 13 greater Lansing assets during the summer. Only eight are needed to register to win.
